Hi, I am Ethan and I am 2 years old. I am a big boy! My mommy and daddy think I am so smart because I know all of my colors. They say I am going to go pee-pee in the potty soon, but I am not so sure about that. I have a new baby sister, Emma, but I just call her Sissy. She cries a lot so I try to give her the binky to make her happy. I like to tickle her toes and kiss her head. My mommy put me on time-out for putting the boogie sucker up her nose. I don't know why. I was just helping! My best friend is Addison Sisco. We like to play outside, ride bikes and blow bubbles. I have to tell her "NO!" a lot because she thinks everything belongs to her. Sometimes we fight, but I love her and I always try to give her kisses. You should see me hit a baseball! I can hit it if you throw it to me. I also like to hit golf balls. My Pops took me to a golf course and I got to drive the "golf twuck." Come visit me and I will show you all the bugs in my backyard. This is what Ethan is up to as of January 2001: He loves anything to do with cowboys, Batman, Blues Clues, church, videos, baseball, painting and playing outside. Every morning when he gets dressed he asks me, "Where I go?" I guess we have been a little busy! He loves reading books, esp. his Bible. He loves the story of David and Goliath and will tell you that Goliath is "nine feet tall" and has "big muscles." By the way, only boys and men have muscles. Mommies don't! He had a great Christmas. We got him a Buzz Lightyear and a Woody and a black two-wheeler with training wheels. I also found him a pair of black cowboy boots at the 99cents store so my mom got his a cowboy hat. He has been a cowboy almost everyday since Christmas! He is pronouncing his "l's" like "w's" and the other day I was eating lemon yogurt and asked if he wanted a bite. He looked at me with his face contorted and his nose scrunched and said, "Women! I don't wike women!" I thought I was going to fall on the floor laughing. The poor kid had no idea why. His birthday is Feb. 12th and we are having his party at the choo choo train park so since we have been talking about details he keeps asking when he gets to go to a "birtday for Etan." He is finally potty trained, but beware if you come use our bathroom. He's got terrible aim! We keep towels on the floor and wash the wall frequently. David's mom was baby sitting and didn't know he had started standing so she sat him on the toilet. He didn't "hold" himself so he ended up peeing in the tub! It shot right over the floor! Oh, the joys of parenthood! He is a busy boy and lots of fun! We think "3" is going to be interesting. July 13, 2000 For july 4th we went to a BBQ at Gregg and Shannon's. That night we went to Grandma and Papa's to see "fiya wuks." Yesterday I went to Disneyland with Mommy, Sissy and Nana. I rode the choo choo, race cars, and a rocket. I also got to hug and kiss "mimmie mouse"(Mickey.) Mommy didn't get a new pass so we won't be back until Sissy is bigger. |
